HVAC Installer / Technician (Experienced)

Reports to:  HVAC Division Manager

Work Hours:  Monday thru Friday, with rotating on-call for evenings and weekends

Pay Scale:  Competitive Wage Based on Experience.

 

Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis, repairing & installation of residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.

 

 

Job Duties Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heating and cooling units

Install various HVAC equipment (air-conditioners, evaporator coils, gas furnaces, etc.)

Perform maintenance on heating and cooling equipment

Analyze system for safety and efficiency

Offer various solutions to heating, cooling, indoor air quality issues for residential and light commercial clients

Communicate with customers regarding options and costs, obtaining approval for repairs/replacements

Document services, explaining guarantees/warranties, collecting payment, and delivering payment to the office

Train less-experienced technicians

Promote service agreements

Knowledge and offering of payment assistance through financing of service costs

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-Years Experience Within HVAC Field.

Universal EPA Certification

Service experience with hydronic systems, mini-split systems, Space-pak and Unico systems, roof-top units and traditional split systems

Work with industry-related tools, materials and supplies including ductwork

Ability to regularly move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Ability to climb extension ladders to access roof-top units

Detail oriented and customer service focused

Strong listening and communication skills

NATE Certification a plus

Valid Driver’s License and good driving record

Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends
